So much anticipation and love as these two plan to journey through life together.
  Magical, mystical creatures taking flight at the Mission Arts Council's Annual Children's Festival  You can plan your wedding down to the final, nitty gritty details, but Mother Nature always has the final say. For Gwen and Chris, we had planned beautiful outdoor photos on the dock of Harrison Hot Springs, but the rain started early in the day and never stopped. The bride was determined to carry on with their outdoor wedding. Like marriage, you just need to roll with the punches and no matter how cold and wet it was outside, you can feel the love and warmth between these two. 
  GPS, Backup Cameras, Automatic Brakes...who needs that when there's Soapbox Derby!? Despite the fancy gadgets and distractions that technology has to offer, flying down Stave Lake Road fueled only by gravity, the Mission Soapbox Derby is a long time Mission tradition that still fulfills the need for speed and excitement. Being there, amongst the hay bale-lined roads and cheering on the grinning kids (and 2 adults) coming down the hill, there is a sense of family and comradery in the air. No matter how old this tradition is, the smiles on everyone's faces proves that good family fun never goes out of style.

There's nothing more Canadian than skating on a frozen pond. Mission gets cold, but rarely cold enough to freeze a body of water. But when that happens, kids and families are out there in droves taking advantage of this rare occurrence.
